WE have two major Eagle Projects starting today. One is moving 900 feet of trail at Thanksgiving and one is a major bridge at Crooked Springs.

Look for Photos later today. Swing by and ask if you can help if you are in the area.

20 people showed up and we moved 800 feet of trail in a single day!.. I will post photos tonight

Strange lights in the Lime Quarry.

Yes it is true I am a little bit nuts but harmless. I was on my walk this morning about 6:30 and being this early I walk with a flash light to start. When I approached the main Quarry pit the sun was just about to break but I still had the light on. As always I took a quick look in the main pit to make sure it’s still trouble free and noticed large white lines all over the rocks. Some of these lines where 3-4 feet wide and 30 to 40 feet long. I turned off my light and climbed down and when I turn around they where all gone. Confused I then the light on and they appeared… off and they where gone.. Seem like the moss on the rocks is reflective is some way Bottom line is its wicked cool. Now the warnings: You can see this at dusk and dawn but remember the quarry is CLOSED at night so stay out or you will find me behind you telling you to buzz off. Make sure you know your way in and out.

Ok its really not… its work on the green trail at the Quarry day. I will be there from about 8am to maybe 1 or 2 pm. As always I would love some help as we have down trees to remove and starting clearing the basic trail.

Interested? Drop me a line at Phil@morgansci.com or just stop on by and find me along the trail.
